UC Berkeley’s Online Master’s for Data Science Leaders
Data is the key to solving some of the world’s most challenging problems, and the need for professionals who can understand and manage that data is growing every day. The UC Berkeley School of Information is meeting that need with datascience@berkeley, a Master of Information and Data Science degree program delivered online.
The program features a multidisciplinary curriculum that teaches students to use the latest tools and analytical methods to derive insights from real data sets. Students also learn to communicate their findings in order to drive change and solve complex challenges. The interdisciplinary, project-based curriculum explores methods to define a research question; gather, store, retrieve, and analyze data; interpret results; and communicate findings to solve problems and effect change.
